When the founder of Rose City Chocolates, the illustrious Mr. B, was on his historic quest to locate a source of chocolates that met or even exceeded his personal passion for fine chocolates, he wandered into a tiny shop in Brussels and was absolutely stunned when he tasted these chocolates. He was so moved that he declared aloud on the spot that he had "never tasted anything so fresh."

Unless you have been to Belgium and tasted these at the source as he did, you cannot understand the sensory experience awaiting you. Despite outward appearances, these chocolates are not to be confused with simple ganache confections. The center of this, the Classic Belgian Manon, is light and ephemeral; an incredible combination of butter and cream whipped so that it practically melts in your mouth before you get it there. We are not given to hyperbole, but having been involved with making and selling fine chocolates for more than 25 years, we have never tasted chocolate confections that compare to these. The flavors in this assortment include mocha, fresh raspberry, chocolate, mocha walnut, French Vanilla, and Pina Colada.

Due to the short shelf life of these all-natural chocolates, they are available mid-October through February only. They are flown in from Belgium in small quantities just after being made.
